Stem Cell Therapy for Spinal Cord Injury

"I took physiotherapy for more than a year which did not help me at all... within 24 hours of my first [stem cell] session I felt sensation in my bladder and I started feeling my stomach, also I felt sensation in my legs..."

SPINAL CORD INJURY THERAPY AT GIOSTAR

How can stem cell therapy help?

The neurons traveling up the spinal cord to the brain are known as sensory neurons, they carry sensory information from skin, joints, and muscles to control our ability to sense, touch and adjust the temperature of the body.

These neurons are insulated from the outer side by the coating of Oligodendrocytes and myelin sheath. These cells insulate the neuron to protect them from sudden damage and shock. In case any of the above types of cells are affected due to sudden damage such as shearing, laceration, stretching or shock, then the network of cells is disturbed due to which the passage of information from the brain to the spinal cord and vice versa is halted.

GIOSTAR stem cell therapy can help the repopulation of the damaged areas of the spinal cord, through their strong paracrine effects and differentiate into lost neurons or other damaged supporting cells to improve motor as well as sensory functions of the spinal cord.

Results may vary for each patient. GIOSTAR practice the application of stem cell therapy within the legal regulations of each country.
