Dr. Anand Srivastava is known as the pioneer in the field of stem cell research, and the founder and leader of GIOSTAR. With more than 15 years in the research field, his success has its roots in his unique background of expertise in Stem cell biology, molecular biology, immunology, gene therapy, and clinical research. He is Chairman and Co-founder of California based Global Institute of Stem Cell Therapy and Research (GIOSTAR) headquartered in San Diego, California, (U.S.A.).
Under his creative leadership, a group of esteemed scientists and clinicians have developed and established Stem cell therapy for various types of autoimmune diseases and blood disorders. Dr. Anand Srivastava’s wide-spectrum expertise is rare in clinical research and perfectly crafted to fit ideally with the GIOSTAR projects for Stem cell transplant, cancer, and gene therapy research.
He is also a member of several scientific review committees and he has written distinguished review articles and scientific manuscripts. He is also reviewer of several scientific journals such as Advances in Stem Cells, Current Topics in Medicinal Chemistry, Journal of Stem Cell Research and Therapy, Conference Papers in Molecular Biology, Open Journal of Organ Transplant Surgery, and many more.
Aside from that, Dr. Anand Srivastava’s has dedicated his life to research, and his work has been presented in various national and international scientific meetings and conferences in India, Japan, Germany, Korea, China, Bahamas and USA. Since 1997 to present, Dr. Anand has held numerous of important positions in renowned universities and institutes worldwide: Senior Scientist: Stem Cell Core Facility in the Salk Research Institute, La Jolla, CA, USA. Visiting Associate Researcher: Department of Molecular, Cell and Development Biology, University of California Los Angeles (UCLA), CA, USA.
Visiting Fellow: National Research Institute, Nansei, Mie, JAPAN and more. Currently, Dr. Srivastava has contributed for Stem cell programs and guided the stem cell policies and programs for different governments and organization, such as: Helped stem cell core facility at Salk Research Institute, San Diego, USA Worked for stem cell program for University of California, Los Angeles, USA Worked for Japanese Research Institute for developing genomic program, Japan Guided scientists in developing stem cell program for Turkey, Kuwait, and Saudi Arabia Stem cell program Director of GIOSTAR for State of Gujarat, India Stem cell program Director of GIOSTAR for State of Madhya Pradesh, India.
